{"id":1941,"date":"2024-04-13T03:58:54","date_gmt":"2024-04-13T01:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/?p=1941"},"modified":"2024-04-13T20:33:58","modified_gmt":"2024-04-13T18:33:58","slug":"ld-55-theme-is-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/2024\/04\/13\/ld-55-theme-is-here\/","title":{"rendered":"LD 55 : Theme is here !"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Summoning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve been on the Discord for the whole night almost.<br>Just before 3 AM, peeps were starting A countdown to the start of Ludum Dare 55.<br>A poll is being held, and people share some ideas for the most popular themes.<br>Even though everybody thinks it will be some lame ass theme again because that&#8217;s the rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, it wasn&#8217;t a lame-ass theme.<br>3AM came and the theme was made public: &#8220;Summoning&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"467\" height=\"30\" src=\"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/photo_2024-04-13_03-43-43.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1942\" srcset=\"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/photo_2024-04-13_03-43-43.jpg 467w, https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/photo_2024-04-13_03-43-43-300x19.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately people began to brainstorm, cheer and of course, whine about the theme.<br>Just as it should be with LD&#8217;s.<br>The countdowns on the LD jam website changed from countdown to the theme release to time left for the Compo and the Jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"367\" src=\"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-3-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-3-1.png 375w, https:\/\/simpelspul.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-3-1-300x294.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And yes, that&#8217;s right. Compo is done in 11 minutes and 6 seconds&#8230; euh !
